Emerging Managers Have Outperformed

Altura conducted research in 2009 which suggests that, on average, emerging and diverse managers in the Altura Emerging and Diverse Platform outperformed their benchmarks and their larger peers for the 1, 3, and 5 year periods ending December 2008. This study was conducted using data as of year-end 2008 and was based on information provided by emerging managers in the Altura Emerging and Diverse Platform at that time. Altura looked at managers in four different asset classes:


  • US large cap core equity
  • US large cap value equity
  • US large cap growth equity
  • US investment grade fixed-income
